We called the reimagination of this grand c.1803 residence the IMAGINE! Project, reflecting its aspiration to merge existing historic spaces and details with a dramatic vision for the future, pushing the envelope of what is possible. Heidi's kitchen footprint was entirely in the modern addition, but immediately adjacent to finely detailed and ornamented rooms that had changed little in 220 years ... requiring the modern appliances, surfaces, and functions to coexist happily with a traditional main floor plan. Heidi's design of cabinetry details, the selection of materials, the development of a massive, custom range hood, the specification of lighting placement and fixtures, all combined in a breathtaking harmony that stood out in a house full of fine design and innovation. Heidi is an amazing designer. She helped us to completely remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. The kitchen is an absolute dream, and a big change from the original floorpan. The space was dark, with limited cabinets and counter space. We ended up moving some of the appliances to make the space work more efficiently. We now have a beautiful, functional space in which to entertain family and friends. Heidi helped me to add some pizzaz with the tile selection and the addition of a new bar space. The bathroom is equally as wonderful! The tile selections were spot on and added so much to the newly designed space. Heidi is so easy to work with, she took our original ideas and added suggestions to make an amazing transformation in our new home in Summerville. Heidi's redesign of our kitchen and dining areas completely transformed our living area in our Hilton Head home! Heidi helped us navigate a complete kitchen remodel that turned our poorly laid out, drab kitchen into a functional, bright and happy kitchen. She helped keep the project on track and supported me through all the decisions big and small that are required on such a project. She is great at reading where you're headed and supporting that journey, not imposing her own. When asked, Heidi is not afraid to give her unvarnished opinion on design elements or product suggestions but there is no pressure to take that advice. She also was more than willing to work within design elements that were already in place and worked to make sure the whole space worked together.
